The complete list of shakuhachi players who will be performing at the World Shakuhachi Festival 2008 will not be known for some time.
Below is an incomplete list of shakuhachi performers, listed alphabetically, who have replied positively to initial invitation letters. We are waiting to hear from another sixty-six invitees.
* Needless to say, not everyone will accept the Festival's invitation to come to Sydney in 2008, nor will everyone who plans to come will be able to do so in the end. The list on this page is only a tentative one and does not imply any firm contractual agreement or obligation on the part of either performer or the Festival.
